What if I have a problem with my glucose meter or lancing device?

Having trouble getting enough blood for your glucose meter?

Wash your hands with warm water and soap. Then, squeeze from the base to the tip of your finger.

If you are still having trouble, the lancing device has settings that change how far the needle goes into your finger. You may need to use a higher setting.

Is your meter not working right?

You can call the number on the back of your glucose meter, check the owner’s manual or the glucose meter website.
