How will I feel when my blood glucose (sugar) is high?

High blood glucose, or high blood sugar, is called hyperglycemia. It is when your blood glucose is above 180 mg/dL.

A rise in blood glucose can make you:

  • feel thirsty

  • pee often

It can also lead to: 

  • dry skin 

  • dry mouth

  • blurry vision

  • fatigue (feeling tired) 

  • nausea
